Amazing - as usual
"Alas, the boys took the stage and rocked it out! While waiting almost an hour for Spafford to take the stage, I won't lie, I was a bit worried the show would not go on. Thoughts of drug induced incoherentness and/or prima-donna tantrums by one band member who will remain unnamed kept flashing through my head.
This was the fourth time I've seen an STP show and this one, like the rest, did not disappoint. Thankfully, Scott seemed to be in very fine form - he looked good and healthy and sounded good too. They even apologized for coming out late. That being said, he didn't do quite as much of his very entertaining contortion like dancing through the show, some but not as much as I've seen at other shows.
One lucky guy got pulled on stage and got to start Dead and Bloated with the bullhorn as well as leave with Scott's tie- how cool would that be! The boys put on a fantastic show as usual, playing all songs we know and love and a few from their new album set to release May 25. They came out for an encore which began with Scott clowning around doing a handstand on stage. The show ended with all four guys coming together at the front of the stage to take a bow. It really looked as if they were all getting along very well and enjoying themselves again.
